For those of you who don’t know our featured starlet, allow us to introduce Aimee Garcia, the spicy chicana who’s raising Harrison, Dexter’s youngest born son on the critically acclaimed series. Aimee has been one of the regular female characters on the explosive series appearing in the last two seasons leading into the shows finale.
The bombshell also starred in the CBS series “Vegas”, where she plays the role of a steamy office manager for the local sheriff based in the 1960’s. Aimee was recently featured in a fashion spread for Regard Magazine in which the rising star divulged some of her favorite labels for both the red carpet and her everyday ready-to-wear looks. Just to give you a sneak peek into Aimee’s fashion mind some of her faves are Rag and Bone, Elizabeth & James, Chole, YSL, and Helmut Lang just to name a few.
I appreciated the simple beauty of the one-piece Andrea Batwing jumpsuit styled from Walter Collection (waltercollection.com), along with the billowing black sleeves, paired with the lovely Nina Sparkle Pumps. There’s an air of timeless class with this ready to wear look. The Andrea Batwing dress is an elegant, sophisticated, and ready-to-wear ensemble.
With everything good, there’s also an equal amount of bad.
Now while we appreciate the effort, I cannot support the vest/pants combo as it looks like the old JCPenney before its fashionable reinvention of JCP. The fit of the Bella Trousers is not complimentary to the sexy Latina curves possessed by Miss Garcia. The Katy Fur Vest was definitely giving #bathroomshowermat teas. Look at her she looks like the pastor’s wife prepping for the annual Christmas post card – not flattering at all in our book (#nobueno).
What do I think about the ever present #littleblackdress? The Kim Stretch Babydoll dress is velvet #whooptydoo. It’s okay if you like that sort of thing, but we don’t love it. However, if you’re interested, you can find this little number in the ready to wear section of at waltercollection.com and the shoes by Steve Madden at shopvanityroom.com.
The Cheetah Printed Mini is hot for a popping night out on the town or the blazing afterparty you always hear about as you make your exit.
But the cheapest #hotmessaward goes to the Cheetah Chiffon High-Low Dress, which is the worst possible look someone could have come up with. Seriously people, this is like Kohl’s meets Burlington meets Kmart for the #bluelightspecial. No girl anywhere in the world would wear this dress, making me think this was not one of the best #dexterfemmefatale spreads we’ve witnessed.
In fact, I might have to say that this is our absolutely least favorite spread to date. It kind of feels like we are
looking at something we shouldn’t see and you wanna look away cause you feel so bad and guilty at the same time – #tsssktsssk
