As the first artist from Alicia Keys’ imprint Krucial Noise, Cincinnati singer-songwriter Mateo is continuing his underground buzz with his latest single “Home For Christmas”. Banking extra holiday sales has been especially popular this year and Mateo is hoping to do the same. On “Christmas”, Mateo sings about his holiday blues from being away from his lover. The video continues the theme of being lonely with Mateo playing the piano (#ironic) in the subway. Subtle Alicia references aside, the passion really pours out through his emotions in the clip especially when highlighting his strong upper register.
