Indie rapper turned Universal signee Angel Haze continues to add new skills to her already lengthy resume. After dancing and singing, the Springfield, VA turned NYC native can now add runway model to her list of accomplishments. While staying true to her normal oversized, gender-bending looks, Angel rocks a long baggy fur (!!) vest over a long-sleeved shift dress. The look is polished while still having it’s bit of #haze, and gives the femcee some great fashion cred. Angel walked with what designer Donna Karen deemed as “real people”, who she believes are at the heart of DKNY’s brand. Out of all the petite femcees in the industry, though, the one with the least desire or interest in fashion was chosen. It’s an odd pairing, but it’s also a great move that’s helping the promo behind her debut album ‘Dirty Gold’, which is slowly moving on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. After appearing at Fashion Week in many other flawless looks (see below), I’m sure major American magazines will be itching to shoot Angel soon.
