TUA favorite Haley Reinhart is the type of vocalist that has never disappointed historically, and her latest endeavors with Youtube covers producer Scott Bradlee and his Postmodern Jukebox band follow the same pattern. On a redux of Tove Lo’s smash single “Habits”, Haley adds her signature jazz arranging elements to create one of the best covers of the song to date. The original “Habits” is radio-friendly while Tove forgets about the overall vocal, meaning it’s good but it’s nothing to write home about. Haley’s redux, however, places much more emphasis on the vocal while also emphasizing the risqué lyrics through her talents. Standing as one of the greatest ‘American Idol’ vocalists of all-time, it’s no surprise how stellar Haley’s “Habits” arrangement is. From the opening “and then I go to sex clubs” line, Haley’s vocal prowess shines brighter than ever. The acclaimed singer is currently working on her second studio album which will be released by the end of 2015. Watch and download Haley Reinhart’s cover of Tove Lo’s “Habits” below.

I love her like there’s no tomorrow. On A.I. what made her was Benny and the Jets, You Outta Know and House of the Rising Sun. 3 ROCK POWER SONGS. Why is she doing Jazz, soul and RnB ballads from the 1930’s and 40’s. She’s got POP/ROCK superstar written all over her. I WISH she would just GO FOR IT. I’m scared that her time is running out. GO GET ‘EM HALEY!
