Serving as one of their first remixes featuring a hip-hop artist, Massachusetts indie rock band Passion Pit have called upon one of the greatest lyricists for their third single “Constant Conversations”. The midtempo crossover track features a verse from Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J, who delivers a stellar verse that compliment lead band member Michael Angelakos’ songwriting brilliantly. “Conversations” features a screwed vocal sample from Swedish band Erato and takes on a tough, conscious subject – how alcoholism destroys relationships. As most of their songs take on politically charged messages invoking positivity, “Conversations” goes into territory that is rarely discussed. The music video (sans Juicy J) features Analeigh Tipton, the ANTM runner-up model-turned-actress who was recently Golden Globe-nominated for her role in the 2012 film ‘Crazy Stupid Love’, and adds a great visual to Angelakos’ touching story.
