Sometimes, it’s good to switch up what you’re notorious for in exchange for a new life path. For H&M’s upcoming fall collection, Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen not only contributed on the design and model front for the low-end, ready-to-wear franchise, but she also concocted a cover of the Kinks’ song “All Day And All Of The Night”. I can admit in all honesty that I’d expect fellow Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio to release music before Bündchen, but things (as you can see) aren’t always what you’d expect. “Night” is a rock/pop influenced number featuring light, airy vocals from Bündchen. As a part of her recently debuted fashion line for H&M, Bündchen’s music-meets-fashion campaign is actually a good idea. Fashionistas such as Bündchen and Ambrosio are at the center of the modeling world, so why not expand their horizons to reach more audiences? My only issue is that the vocal isn’t as good as it should be. But again, the trade here is beauty for vocals – and at least it’s for a great charitable cause. After the first 10,000 downloads are taken from H&M’s site, the remainder of the proceeds will go towards UNICEF.
