After receiving numerous accolades for the #prismera, the Queen of Pop Katy Perry now has one-up on nearly 99% of the music industry. Perry’s highly applauded ‘Superbowl XLIV’ performance has received an exclusive Emmy nomination under the ‘Outstanding Special Class Short Format Live Action Entertainment Programs’ category. Although I never knew about this category until royalty was recently nominated, the news proves the iconic nature of Perry’s overall artistry. While the ‘Prismatic World Tour’ is on hiatus before its seventh (!!!) and final leg in October 2015, the recognition keeps rolling in for the Queen.
