‘Born To Die’ came out almost four years ago, and Lana Del Rey’s momentum towards releasing albums hasn’t let up ever since. On her fourth album ‘Honeymoon’, Lana refines the sound that’s made her America’s sweetheart to deliver a strong set of retro ballads that only she could concoct. The album’s first single “High By The Beach” may have been a bit of a departure from her previous lead-in singles, but the rest of the album keeps her loved artistry intact. Album standout “Art Deco” was rumored to be about Azealia Banks, and featured some of Lana’s most promising songwriting to date. ‘Honeymoon’ came out quite swiftly on the heels of her third album ‘Ultraviolence’, which means we’ll likely have another Lana release within the next year or so.
Best Selling Single: “High By The Beach”
Take A Chance On: “Religion”
Should Be Next Single: “Art Deco”
My Favorite: “God Knows I Tried”
