Legendary Italian DJ Giorgio Moroder has rumored his comeback to the music game since collaborating with Daft Punk on their heavily accoladed ‘Random Access Memories’ album. Notably known as the “father of disco”, Moroder’s work in music dates back to 1966. On the titular track for his 2015 release, Giorgio enlists pop vocal goddess Sia to collaborate with on his latest musical endeavor. “Déjà Vu” pairs the two artists in a mashup of medley heaven as Sia sings about her precognitions about a lover. The video treatment for Sia and Giorgio’s collaboration features a slew of Sia lookalikes and a guy’s tale of bad luck with dating. Giorgio appears throughout the video in different forms – namely a janitor and a taxi driver – while Sia appears in spirit via her iconic wigs. The ‘Déjà Vu’ album marks Moroder’s first release in over 30 years, and Sia’s appearance on the title song makes for quite the strong comeback.
